CEF Students Awarded Gates Millennium Scholarship

Three CEF students from the graduating class of 2009 were awarded the prestigious Gates Millennium Scholarship.  These students from St. Matthias HS, Bishop Montgomery, and Verbum Dei HS were among 1,000 students chosen nation wide to receive the award.  The  program is available to exceptional high school seniors for study at the college of their choice.  Congratulations from CEF!

CEF Trustee Receives Prestigious Seton Award

Allen Lund & his wife Kathleen

received the Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Award. The award honors individuals whose personal or professional philanthropy or volunteer service has impacted Catholic education in particular or U.S. education and our country's youth in general. The Lunds believe in Catholic education at all levels including  parish religious education programs in the West.
